Bio

Alice Russell (she/her) is a writer whose work has appeared in Away Journal, Thirteen Bridges Review, and elsewhere. In 2021, she received the University of New Hampshire’s Hugemanities Award for Innovative Design in Digital Storytelling. Most recently, she was a finalist for the 2025 James Hurst Prize for Fiction.

Alice holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in Creative Studies with a minor in Social Difference, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (2024). She is currently pursuing an MFA in Fiction at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
