Bio

Alice Russell (she/her) is a writer whose work has appeared in Away Journal, Thirteen Bridges Review, and elsewhere. In 2021, she received the University of New Hampshire’s Hugemanities Award for Innovative Design in Digital Storytelling.

Alice holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in Creative Studies with a minor in Social Difference, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (2024). From 2024–2025, she studied fiction in the low-residency MFA program at Queens University of Charlotte, where she worked with Myla Goldberg, Elissa Schappell, Naeem Murr, and David Payne. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Fiction at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
